Cardinal at Work - Celebrating Staff Careers

On Thursday, May 22, Provost John Etchemendy, Vice President for Human Resources David Jones, and fellow colleagues honored long-serving staff at the Cardinal at Work: Celebrating Staff Careers recognition event. Sixty of the 100 honorees who celebrated 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 years with Stanford participated and were formally recognized in a special ceremony held at the annual Multicultural Springfest.

Recognition Criteria

For the university-wide Cardinal at Work: Celebrating Staff Careers event, the following recognition criteria has been established:

  • Active, benefits-eligible staff member
  • Completed 30, 35, 40, 45 or 50 years of continuous or bridged service as of the 2013 calendar year
