Interior of Memorial Church

Stanford Memorial Church, one of the earliest and most prominent interdenominational churches in the West, is both the architectural crown jewel of campus and a functional center serving the broadest spiritual needs of the university community.

Memorial Church is available for weddings, baptisms and memorial services for eligible Stanford staff, faculty, retirees and students of all faiths. Current or retired Stanford employees, as well as their children or grandchildren, can get married in this beautiful venue; please contact wedding-program@stanford.edu three to six months in advance for available dates and times.

Visiting hours are Monday-Thursday, 9am - 4pm, and Friday, 9am - 1pm, and weekly docent-led tours are offered on Fridays at 11am (except during services, commencement, university holidays, and winter closure). Regular programs such as lectures, labyrinth walks, and concerts are open to the public on weekdays, and worship services are open to the public on Sundays; during the holiday season, special services and performances are offered.
